The 1st Semester Of Tech!

~Technology!~

Since the 2nd week of school, the senior syndicate has been walking down to Tamaki College to do Tech. I am in the mixed group and we have been working in graphics with Mr Pineda!

It has been a great time working on our charity boxes this semester but now we're moving on to a new tech class! This is the certificate that I recieved for finishing the 1st semester of Graphics.

Yesterday with Ms Rack Room 13 started to make stories about the ANZAC war using all 5 senses and also adding what they would have wondered. This is my story, have a look!

My PB4L Card

At Glen Taylor School we have a certain red card called the PB4L card.

To fill your card you need to show FIRE and ACE.
FIRE stands for Fun, Intergrity, Respect, and finally Excellence, while ACE stands for Achievement, Confidence and last but not least Enjoyment!

Doctor's Warning For Dangers Of Fortnite?

~Fortnite Warning~

You may have heard about the game Fortnite.

If you haven't Fornite is a video game that is taking over the world. It's the new video game craze, just like pokemon go was in 2016. Doctors have warned that Fortnite is dangerously addicting!

Some parents worry about if their children are on Fortnite for too long, and worry if they are stuck to the screen, they might damage their eyes. Another thing that some parents worry about is who their children are talking to, and who they might be behind the screen.

The Turkish Army - Their Side Of The Story

ANZAC! What does is mean to me?

~ANZAC~

In Room 13 for the first 2 weeks of term 2, we will be learning about the ANZAC soldiers, about ANZAC day, and the backstory behind what happened back in the early 1900s!

Yesterday we had to fill in a padlet with what Anzac day means to you so this is what I had written in the time frame that we were given, take a look!
