Athletics Day

On the 14th of November 2017 was the annual GTS Athletics.

All of the students wore mufti in their house colours and we could buy some food from the kitchen.

Pineapple Christmas Trees

2017 has been a really weird year... and I mean ridiculous.

A lot of different styles, hacks, and trends, but in the holiday spirit the weirdest thing yet..

is Pineapple Christmas Trees!

This is a really fun idea and Instagram has been blowing up with pictures of people's pineapple christmas trees. A lot of people have added lights and sunglasses to the pineapple bottom, and pretty baubles and fancy decorations at the head of the pineapple.

Only Avacado?

In Sydney Australia, there is a pop-up restaurant that only serves dishes that include avocado for breakfast lunch and dinner. This restaurant is called  'Good Fat'. There are classic items featured on the menu like avocado on toast or avocado with eggs, but there are more intriguing  and complicated ones like more intriguing items like the ABC Bites, which are deep-fried avocado, bacon and potato balls.

One of the desserts they serve are the AvoConetto, which is an avocado flavoured ice-cream in a delicious waffle cone. Head Chef of the restaurant, Liam Crawley, says that "Avocados are very neutral flavoured fruits" meaning that it is an easy food to include into dishes.

The Sad Set Of Teeth

~Tooth Decay~

In NZ, children as young as 2 years old, have sadly been struck with a case of tooth decay.
Some of this decay or rot, is so heavy and severe that every tooth has to be taken out.

Dental health data reveals that annually more than 1,000 more children need to be admitted to hospital for dental care because of tooth decay. The New Zealand government are commited to $2.5 million dollats per year over four years for dental health to improve the health of young children.
