Last week and a couple days this week Constable Taina, a police officer, has come to talk to us about drugs, and showing us what might happen if we take those drugs.

Aria The Scarlett Ammo

Recently I've been reading a manga on Tamaki College's digital library, called Aria The Scarlett Ammo. This book is about a pig-tail pink haired Butei (armed detective) extraordinaire named Aria H. Kanzaki. This is what my manga looks like..

This is writen in the traditional format so it's read from right to left instead of the other way around.

This manga is written by Chugaku Akamatsu.

Kahoot!

At Glen Taylor School we play this game called Kahoot on our chromebooks.

Kahoot is a game that encourages you to use what you have learnt to the test, so basically it's a really fun pop quiz game. We have been playing Kahoot for quite some time now, here is a picture of my when I got 1st place on Kahoot!

Play Based Learning

Recently in class we have been doing play based learning.

Play Based learning is when we are given materials to work with to construct forts, to design, and to draw anything we want. What this is achieving is learning skills we will need later in life, while we are playing with the things we have been given. I have made a poster on this, here it is!
