art that we draw to represent ourselves! I made mine and glued it onto bright, sunshine yellow paper.

Kahoot!

~Kahoot~

At Glen Taylor School we play this game called Kahoot on our chromebooks.

Kahoot is a game that encourages you to use what you have learnt to the test, so basically it's a really fun pop quiz game. We have been playing Kahoot for quite some time now, here is a picture of my when I got 1st place on Kahoot!

Take Care Of Our Books!

Recently in Glen Taylor School the library has opened up again.

Miss Christine and other teacher aids have been working on tidying up the library so that all of the classes could have an easy time finding books on their assigned days!

My PB4L Card

~PB4L Card~

At Glen Taylor School we have a certain red card called the PB4L card.

To fill your card you need to show FIRE and ACE.
FIRE stands for Fun, Intergrity, Respect, and finally Excellence, while ACE stands for Achievement, Confidence and last but not least Enjoyment!

Family Fun Day!

~Family Fun Day~

This Saturday Glen Taylor school had a special event called Family Fun Day.

We came back to school on Saturday from 10am to 1pm and did a lot of stuff in between.

 

At the beginning of the day we went to our classes and met our teachers, and second, 

the parents moved to the staff room and listened to Mr Herlihy's presentation about Learning at Glen Taylor School.

At the end of Family Fun Day we could play games, eat ice cream and sausage sizzles and hang out with our friends. A few of us were taking pictures with each other and eating on the deck. We also were buying and eating Mr Whippy ice-creams really fast!

Interesting Comment: What was interesting was that a lot of people weren't playing on their phones, instead they were communicating in real life.
Challenging Comment: It was boring waiting for the adults because I couldn't leave the library area.
Positive Comment: This event was long but it was really fun to hang out with my friends and family.

Making History in GTS!

~PB4L Bands~

Today it was the last day of school - Yay!
My friend Anaysha and I recieved the first ever orange PB4L bands, this means we made history in Glen Taylor School!

We took some pictures with our orange PB4L bands that we had recieved in the amazing principal's assembly.

Cross Country

Today we had cross country and for a lot of people it was really challenging, 

one of those people were me!

Cross country was really long and was a lot of hard work, but at least everybody finished!
