Fun Day! - Friday The Last Day Of Term 1 💜

~Fun Day!~

This Friday is the last day of term 1 for GTS and we're all so excited!

On Friday if it's clear blue skies and a sunny day then we won't be doing too much learning while being hot and stuffy in the classroom! I hope that wehen we have our end of term principal's assembly he'll play the song Happy by Pharrell Williams and we'll get up onto the stage and dance to it like crazy!

  

I think that we're going to have a warm day out in the sun getting sunburnt and tanned playing games on the court and field. I think that we'll play a lot of games and all of us will get tired and sweaty, gross!
I also think that we might catch a wave in our school pool after we get hot and tired outside, and maybe have a water fight!

If I got any car out of these cars I would choose...

 I would choose this car because I like the red on it and I don't really want a flying car because I'm scared of heights and I don't want a black car because it would get too hot in the summer.

I also would choose the red car because it's a convertible so I could just pull a roof over the top.

I like cars that remind me of old fashioned movies that I have seen/liked.

~Bonus Activity~

I think that in 80 - 90 years New Zealand will eat more healthy,
and the kind of houses that we will live in are going to be very fancy, modern and fashionable.
I think that things will be very much more expensive, or very much less expensive. I don't think we will have a lot of jobs that we have now, and I think we will need more old fashioned going out side.

When I finish college I want to...

I want to go to University and study to get a degree in entertainment or to become a lawyer.

Even though both are hard to complete and expensive I want to try the best.

I want to go overseas and travel the world for a couple years then come back to

New Zealand and apply for a job. I want to live in Glen Innes but I would live somewhere else if I wanted or if I had to.

Back to school .. Already?

Today was the last day of holidays and we're sad the holidays have to end but happy we're coming back to school! I hope you had an amazing holiday and are also excited to come back to school for Term 2!

Unfortunately, Thursday was our last volleyball session with Toni.

Toni was our volleyball coach for this term and last year, and we're sad to let her go.

On the bright side, Toni has received a Volleyball scholarship to a university in America!

We hope that Toni will have a great time in America eating lots of Cheetos!
